What’s made-to-order fashion?

In the ever-evolving world of fashion, trends come and go, but one concept has been steadily gaining momentum in recent years - made-to-order fashion.

In a bid to prevent overproduction, a host of innovative brands and retailers are adopting a made-to-order buying model. Traditionally associated with the world of haute couture, this means that garments are only produced after they have been ordered by a customer.

As I make every product alone, once an order is put in it takes 1-3 weeks along with the shipping for you to receive your purchase. Items that are marked as “Ready to ship” will be with you within a week if sent domestically and within 7-14 working days outside of Estonia.

The exact length of the wait depends on multiple things – how many orders are already on the books, if modifications to the original patter are needed or if all the tools are at hand.

Although it may take longer than usual for you to receive your order, know you’ve made the right choice by avoiding fast fashion, supporting a small maker and bringing everyone closer to a more sustainable world.
